Heleen received more postcards than the 'postcrossing wall' was able to carry. Also she received - and sent - postcards besides postcrossing cards. Where to collect them? Well, here, of course! Heleen ontving méér kaarten dan op de 'postcrossing wall' pasten. Ook ontving en stuurde zij kaarten buiten postcrossing om. Maar waar moesten die kaarten nu verzameld worden? Nou, hier, natuurlijk.

In: from Spain
'One hour to departure' is the name of this painting by the Polish painter Wiktor Najbor.
The card was sent by Eva from Spain. I am happy that Eva sticked the Spanish Europa 2015 stamp on the back.
Out of all participating countries, and besides the Dutch stamps which of course I already have used for outgoing mail, this is the first Europe 2015 stamp I see in real!
This year's Europe stamp theme is 'Old toys', and I love this wooden train. The stamp even smells after wood!
Thank you very much, moltes gràcies, Eva!

BeantwoordenVerwijderen(By the way, is the fish mail arrived?)
Yes it has arrived, thank you very much, Eva!!!! I will blog it, but still am thinking of a way to picture it the best way. To be continued (on the animals blog :-) )
VerwijderenI have received today your snail-postcard, and you told me that. I was worried because I wasn't sure about the postage. Glad it has arrived! :)
VerwijderenI don;t know if the UK is even doing a Europa stamp this year? Does it really smell of wood!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI really smelt when I bought the stamps. I hope the smell has survived!
VerwijderenI think I have sent one of these to you, John. I will sent another one to you, just in case :)
Yes, it does smell! You can see the surface of the stamp is different, not as smooth like the usual paper stamps.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd as far as I could ser, I didn't see UK stamps on the Europe website.
(I would love to receive the Danish one, the Lego, and this Spanish train, are my favourites!)(but alas I don't know Danish snail mailing people so far...)
I have also seen de Danish Lego. I think this is my favourite too, along with the Czech Republic one. Well... I love too many of them!
